Top 20 'Bachelor' Moments: Kaitlyn and Nick Have Sneaky Sex
If you’re a fan of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, it’s generally easiest to enjoy the franchise if you avoid thinking about how it fits into America’s ever-changing sexual-political landscape. But sometimes, rose lovers, something happens that forces us out of our blissful ignorance — something like Kaitlyn Bristowe’s decision to (gasp) acknowledge her sexual desires. The No. 10 moment in ABC’s #20DaysOfBachelor countdown centers on the Season 11 Bachelorette and her suitor Nick, who were so damn attracted to each other they just couldn’t wait for the Fantasy Suite to get down to business.
As a result, Kaitlyn received death threats and became the target of a whole lotta Twitter slut-shaming, despite the fact that she is a grown-ass woman who is allowed to have sex with whomever she’d like. Including Nick, a gross, smarmy jerk. Reminder to all those outraged by Kaitlyn’s actions: It is 2016. Please start living in the now.
