Top 20 'Bachelor' Moments: Ali Leaves Kasey on Ice
It’s day three of our #20DaysOfBachelor countdown, and today ABC is serving up the first Bachelorette moment of the list — one that will give you chills. Back in 2010, Miss Ali Fedotowsky was our Season 6 Bachelorette, and during a trip to Iceland, she was faced with the dreaded two-on-one date. Her choice? Justin “Rated R” Rego, a professional wrestler, and Kasey “Guard and Protect” Kahl — an ad exec who decided to prove his devotion to Ali by getting a tattoo symbolizing his determination to “guard and protect” her heart. As you might imagine, Ali was more than a bit taken aback by Kasey’s all-too-permanent declaration of love, so when the time came to send one guy home, Kasey got the ax. And by “got the ax” we meant “was left stranded on a glacier to watch Ali and Rated R ascend into the sky via helicopter,” as you’ll see in moment No. 18. Kasey — who would go on to appear on Bachelor Pad, where he hooked up with Bachelor Jake Pavelka’s ex, Vienna — was completely flummoxed by Ali’s decision. “I just don’t know where it went wrong.” We can answer that, sir: IN THE TATTOO PARLOR.
