Our readers love Krispy Kreme doughnuts, whether the Original Glazed or the bakery’s revolving seasonal offerings, such as the current Spring Minis Collection. We also know they enjoy a Big Mac and hot, crispy fries from McDonald’s from time to time. If you’re one of the readers who enjoys both, what if we told you that you could get both from the same location?

McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme are expanding their partnership, which launched in 2022 when the burger chain added Krispy Kreme doughnuts to the menu at Louisville, Kentucky locations. At the time, we polled our Instagram followers, and 94 percent of respondents said they wanted the collaboration available at their local McDonald’s.

If you were one of the 94 percent who said “yes” to burgers and doughnuts at McDonald’s, your wish has come true. If you weren’t, you might change your mind after you can enjoy a doughnut right after your Quarter Pounder.

McDonald’s Is Bringing Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to Its Restaurants Nationwide

Krispy Kreme will deliver three of its most popular fresh doughnuts to McDonald’s daily. The doughnuts will be available individually or as a half dozen starting at breakfast until they run out for the day. McDonald’s customers can choose from the Original Glazed Doughnut, the Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles Doughnut, or the Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled Doughnut.

Can you go to McDonald’s today and get your doughnuts? Unfortunately, no. The chain restaurant is doing a phased market rollout starting later this year. Its goal is to have the doughnuts available nationwide at participating restaurants by the end of 2026.

Don’t blame McDonald’s for the two-year rollout, however. The time frame is because Krispy Kreme is continuing to scale up its supply chain and other logistics to ensure it has enough doughnuts and employees for its Delivered Fresh Daily program, which currently brings fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts to select grocery stores.

Krispy Kreme is celebrating the partnership with what we can only call a flash giveaway. On March 26, 5-9 p.m. local time, head to any U.S. Krispy Kreme bakery for a free Original Glazed Doughnut.
