German Shepherd Puppy’s Annoyance Over Mom Constantly Touching Her Is a Vibe
Just like our kids, our pets can get annoyed by us too. Sometimes it's when we aren't paying attention to them, are giving to much attention to another pet, or even if we don't give them what they want. Snooki the German Shepherd is a puppy who is spoiled rotten by her mom, but she gets annoyed sometimes too.
Snooki's mom shared a video at the beginning of April that shows us all just how annoyed Snooki can get. At the beginning of the video mom points out that her favorite hobby is to annoy her dog, and that's just what she does! Watch as Snooki decides how to handle her mom who just won't quit touching her.
Snooki was totally over her mom, and she let her know it! It's funny because my puppy does the same thing to me when I pet her on the bum. @StLouCatStreet got a kick out of Snooki's reaction and pointed out, "Healthy hobby for us but nor for them! Annoying them always make us feeling better LOL!" @Selena wondered, "Is it a German Shepherd thing? Mine HATES her tail being touched but my other dogs have never seemed to mind." Snooki's mom had shared a previous video of Snooki with a case of the zoomies, so @AJ & Gunter laughed, "It's revenge for the 3AM zoomies haha!"

Do German Shepherds Make Good Pets?
German Shepherds are one of the most popular dog breeds around and known for being protective guard dogs. They are also used by law enforcement as K-9s because of this trait. Growing up, we had a German Shepherd named Greta. She was such a sweet, loving dog with us, but when strangers came around it was a different story! Do these dogs make good family pets? If you ask me, yes!
German Shepherds are one of the most intelligent dog breeds. In fact, The American Kennel Club ranks them as the third smartest breed out there. They quickly learn new tricks and excel at problem solving...this can be a good and a bad thing since you can't sneak anything past them! They love learning and enjoy ongoing mental stimulation. They’re emotionally intelligent and pick up on their humans' feelings and are fiercely loyal and loving with their family. Pleasing their humans is always a top priority.
Early socialization is extremely important, to get them used to being around different people and animals. German Shepherds do well around children for the most part, but like with all dogs, their interactions should always be supervised. Kids also need to learn how to deal with a pet. Teach them to never get directly in the dog's face, hang on them or pull on their tail or ears, and not to touch their food.
Like with any dog breed, it's important to do your own research and learn about the pros and cons of owning a particular breed. Bringing home a pet just because it's cute but without knowing anything about the breed can lead to unhappy owners and an unhappy dog.
