Adorable Capybara Pups at San Diego Zoo Start Their Swim Lessons

We all love watching baby animals learn new things about the world, and these capybara pups learning to swim will totally make your day! @San Diego Zoo shared the video of the pups on Friday, November 10th, and people can't get enough of the cuteness!

The video is about 20 seconds long and shows the three pups learning how to swim. Their little dog paddles are just the best! One of the zookeepers shares that their webbed feet work as paddles and their coconut-like hair dries out quickly when their swim lessons are over. While older capybaras will keep their heads above water to look for predators, these little guys are just enjoying their time in the water, diving and exploring the new play area!

Aren't they the cutest? The @San Diego Zoo zookeeper gave the cute capybara pups' efforts during their swim lessons a 10/10, and so do I! I could watch them all day!

The video's been viewed almost 3 million times and has more than 1,200 comments. People had a lot to say about the cuteness overload. One commenter got more than 13 thousand likes when he asked jokingly, "So capybaras are relatives of the coconut?" @Ashley F shared, "They know they’re safe!" @PattiK and several others enjoyed the video, "I have now seen a baby capybara!" @Sasha pointed out, "They’re such good little paddlers!" I love their little dog paddles!

It's been fun to watch these little guys grow up. I'm glad the zoo shares videos of the adorable pups, and I'll keep following along and hoping for more of them soon!
