Miniature Dachshund's Reaction to First Swimming Lesson Is Not What Mom Expected
Little Joopie just wasn't so sure.
It's a fact of dog ownership. Some dogs absolutely adore baths and water, and some dogs hate nothing more. Well, except squirrels. When you first start teaching your new pup about getting in the water it's normal for both you and your dog to feel trepidatious! It's a whole new world for them!
That's exactly what little Mini Dachshund Joppie's mom at TikTok account @JoopieinZurich discovered when Joopie had his first water lesson. His reaction is just too adorable.

Awwww, you can barely see his little head over the bubbles! Such a big tub for such a teensy pup.
"Joopie is doing a great job swimming laps in the tub! Keep up the great work Joopie!!" applauds @FettuciniandLinguine. He's pretty much ready for the bathtub olympics, we think! @Sunny replies, "Oh my goodness! He's floating!" @Marialuciaevans noticed Joopie's little arial move too with his sweet ears and replies, "When he turned into a plane for a second, awwww."
We want to see little Joopie after his bath, because we are pretty sure he ran like a wild man all around the house!
