Authorities are investigating whether deputies shared graphic photos of the helicopter crash scene where Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter and seven others were killed, according to a newspaper report. The Los Angeles Times reported that a public safety source with knowledge of the events had seen one of the photos on the phone of another official in a setting that was not related to the investigation of the crash. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Maria Lucero told The Associated Press on Friday that “the matter is being looked into.”

A Facebook post from an Ohio mother has gone viral for hilariously capturing what her dog did when her son was put in timeout. On Jan. 26, Jillian Marie Smith shared a photo of her 3-year-old son facing the wall with his arm around their 6-month-old English mastiff, Dash. The photo's caption read, “When you’re in time out but your best pal wont let you serve your time alone". Smith’s post has since gone viral — it has received over 44,000 shares and nearly 3,000 comments. “That is so precious,” one person wrote in response. “The dog looks like he’s saying, I got you pal we’re a team". In an interview with 'Today,' Smith acknowledged that her son and her dog are strongly attached to one another. “If I have to know where Peyton is, I’m like, ‘Where’s the dog?' They’re always together.”
