• Katharine McPhee has 'no regrets' over cheating on husband with married man

Katharine McPhee lives her life with no regrets. The "American Idol" runner-up spoke with Ocean Drive magazine about her scandalous love life saying she's learned from her past mistakes but has "no regrets." "I got married really young, and then divorced, and in the last couple of years, I felt like, 'Wow, this is what I should have been doing when I was 20 instead of planning a wedding,'" the 32-year-old told the magazine. McPhee married Nick Cokas who is 19-years older than the singer in 2008. They split in 2014, several months after news broke of McPhee's affair with her married "Smash" director Michael Morris. • Fiancée: I ‘hated’ Michael Phelps during train-wreck phase

Michael Phelps must be glad he took this “L.” Fiancée Nicole Johnson says breaking up with the swimming superstar was the best thing she did to save their relationship. “Michael and I both know that had we tried to have a child and get married in the previous time we were together, it probably would not have ended pretty,” the former beauty queen told Cosmopolitan. “We both had a lot of growing up to do. We both had a lot of learning about ourselves to do.” Johnson has been dating the world’s most decorated Olympian on and off since 2007. The couple split in 2011 before reconciling three years later, and the 31-year-old admitted she was no fan of Phelps during their separation. “There were definitely

  • Iran: 'We Welcome War With the U.S.'

Last week, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) sent four vessels to “harass” a U.S. warship near the Strait of Hormuz. A prim schoolmarm of a U.S. official called the Iranian action “unsafe and unprofessional.” In reality, there was nothing “unprofessional” about it. The incident wasn’t about seafaring conduct -- it was a clear act of war. The Iranian vessels harassed the USS Nitze, a destroyer, by “conducting a high speed intercept and closing within a short distance of Nitze, despite repeated warnings,” said the official. “The Iranian high rate of closure … created a dangerous, harassing situation that could have led to further escalation, including additional defensive measures

  • Marine veterans sentenced for brutally beating man who had an affair with one of their wives

Norman Early III pulled up to the Southern California house one night in September 2015 and sent a Snapchat message to the woman he went there to see, saying he was parked a short distance away. The two, who had known each other for several years, had crossed the line between friendship and flirtation while her husband was serving overseas. The woman responded, “Come in the door is unlocked.” The account from court documents reads like the start of slasher movie. Minutes after midnight on Sept. 20, 2015, Early walked into the modest corner house with a white iron fence and concrete pillars. It was her husband, however, who was using her cellphone to talk to him. Almost simultaneously, Early later

  • Will.i.am's custom Tesla Model S is perfectly hideous

Last weekend, Will.i.am's customized and heavily modified Tesla Model S was spotted street-parked in Beverly Hills. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on your aesthetic sensibilities) for us, someone captured a walk-around video of the thing. From the detailed video shot in the dark, we can see that the rear doors have been made into rear-hinged suicide doors. However, they still retain the stock handles that extend as the driver gets near. SEE ALSO: Tesla drivers who abuse Autopilot could lose Autosteer function The fellow who shot the video also points out that the customized rear doors feature air intakes. These likely provide extra air to the rear brakes. Or at least I hope they do. Otherwise,

(Photo Credit: Getty Images) While we applaud her weight loss, one of our favorite things about 33-year-old is her eagerness to accept her body. “My first diet started when I was six-years-old. I’ve never been a small girl,” she told Oprah Winfrey in 2009. “One day I had to sit down with myself and decide that I loved myself no matter what my body looked like and what other

  • ‘This could have been life and death’: Utility workers find signs children lived in sewers near Seattle

Friday afternoon in Federal Way, Wash., a city to the south of Seattle, utility workers came across a manhole that refused to stay closed. Meter readers with Lakehaven Utility District first noticed the sewer cover left ajar. They pushed it shut; to fall down an open manhole, after all, could mean injury or worse. It proved to be a stubborn grate. Later in the day - twice - workers found the manhole open again. The third time, the meter readers had enough, summoning the Lakehaven sewer crew, who decided to investigate how a 80-pound metal slab could behave like a screen door with a busted latch. What the crew found was even stranger. At the bottom of the 14-foot descent was a cache of kids’ items,

  • This daughter gave her stepfather the ultimate birthday gift

Dads are notoriously hard to buy presents for, but sometimes kids can go above and beyond the expectations for gift giving. Gabriella Lynde from Port Richey, Florida, gave her stepfather the ultimate gift for his birthday: adoption papers. Like any true dad, he starts opening the gift by torturing everyone around him. He slowly rips away the tissue paper, and checks in between each sheet to see if there are any hidden presents. But as soon as he picks up the adoption papers, his joking manner quickly turns emotional. "Am I adopting you?" he asks Gabriella.  "I want you to, you don't have to. You can say no, but I want you to adopt me. You've been my dad and those legal papers don't change anything,"

  • 'Batman: The Killing Joke' Gets an Honest Trailer - and It's Not Pretty

Batman: The Killing Joke raised eyebrows when it premiered at San Diego Comic-Con - and now Honest Trailers is upping the ante. The controversial animated adaption of the acclaimed graphic novel was criticized for adding an extended introduction featuring a sexual encounter between Gordon/Batgirl (Tara Strong) and Batman (Kevin Conroy). The Comic-Con screening got heated when a fan, later revealed to be a freelance journalist who was covering the controversy, and Killing Joke screenwriter Brian Azzarello got into an argument over that scene. Though the reaction at the Comic-Con screening was otherwise generally positive, the online the buzz was mixed, and the team at Honest Trailers is decidedly
