School budget results are in for the Binghamton area: Who won seats, what was approved
Southern Tier residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on proposed school district budgets for 2024-25.
In addition the budget, voters weighed in on the purchase of new school buses and capital projects in their districts. They also decided races for board of education candidates.

The proposed school budget for Afton Central School District passed with 146 to 91 votes
School bus resolution passed with 132 to 105 votes

Voters passed the budget for Bainbridge-Guilford school district with 136 to 44 votes
Proposition for new school buses passed with 140 to 40 votes

Binghamton school district voters passed the $150,961,791 proposed budget, with 879 to 304 votes
