One of the most endearing symbols of Los Angeles will be lit up Friday in honor of another L.A. icon. The Ferris wheel at Pacific Park in Santa Monica will air a special message for KTLA's Sam Rubin, who died unexpectedly Friday at the age of 64. The local landmark on the Santa Monica Pier will use its 174,000 LED lights to broadcast a special message for the legendary broadcaster: LA (loves) Sam.
