According to the Nacogdoches County District Attorney’s Office, Patrick Williams, of Nacogdoches, was sentenced for abusing a child spanning more than three years.

In 2018, family of the victim was made aware of Williams’ sexual abuse through photographs that were on a phone. The abuse was reported to law enforcement and Williams was taken into custody, a release said.

“During trial, Judge Klein heard evidence that this sexual assault was not the defendant’s first sexual assault against a juvenile. The State presented evidence from a Shelby County incident that occurred roughly 20 years prior where the defendant sexually assaulted a Center, Texas juvenile,” the DA said.
