Kansas Jayhawks women’s basketball team falls to USC, bows out of NCAA Tournament

The Kansas Jayhawks women’s basketball team’s NCAA Tournament run came to an end against No. 1 seed USC on Monday night in Los Angeles.

The eighth-seeded Jayhawks made a game of it in the third quarter, pulling within one point of the Trojans. But USC (28-5) hit the jets and never looked back, winning 73-55.

KU (20-13) reached the Round of 32 by beating No. 9 seed Michigan on Saturday.
