J&S Classics Central PA Sprint Cars update; Week 5
(WHTM) – The J&S Classics Central PA Sprint Cars held two races over the weekend with two of the week five races being washed out.
The weekend was highlighted by wins from Cory Eliason and defending J&S Classics Central PA Sprint Cars Champion Freddie Rahmer.
Rahmer won his first race of the season on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway. The win tied Rahmer for the lead of the all-time win list for the track with 18 oval victories.
The races planned for Port Royal and Lincoln Speedway on Saturday were canceled due to rain. BAPS Motor Speedway opened its point series season with Eliason edging out Troy Wagaman Jr. for the win.
Week six action will begin Friday, March 29, at Williams Grove Speedway and continue on Saturday, March 23, at Lincoln Speedway and Port Royal Speedway. The race marks Port Royals’ first point series event of the year.
Danny Dietrich currently heads the J&S Classics Central PA Sprint Cars standings with Rahmer in second and Anthony Macri in third.
