Drugs seized, 20-year-old arrested after traffic stop: PD

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – Drugs were seized and a 20-year-old is in jail following a traffic stop last week, Gaston County Police said Monday.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop last Thursday on Georgia resident Maria Arroyo, 20,

During the traffic stop, four kilos of fentanyl were seized and Ayyor was arrested. She faces multiple charges including drug trafficking. The seized drugs were valued at $460,000.

Homeland Security, a Special Investigations Unit, and Highway Patrol were among the departments involved in the operation.
