Car seat check event set for Friday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County caregivers can get their car seats checked for free Friday, April 26 in Arvin.

The car seat check event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Garden in the Sun Park in Arvin.

Police launch search for runaway teen last seen on Panama Lane

This event is being organized by state law maker Dr. Jasmeet Bains, the Arvin Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.

Appointments for this event are not required but the child who will use the seat must be present.
