Experience the flavors of the Caribbean

G's Kitchen has become the premier destination for authentic Caribbean cuisine. The dishes are carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients and infused with traditional flavors. Located at 812 Brock Ave. or through DoorDash, UberEats, or Grubhub, for the month of April, G's is offering a special promotion of any two meals for just $25. The must-try menu of items include smoothies, Haitian-style fried goat with rice and beans, the flavorful red snapper and more. The salmon and rice and bean mix is also a customer favorite.

Try a Portuguese-style burger at Blue Point

Blue Point Restaurant, located at 6 Dayton St. in Acushnet, features several different Portuguese-style dishes such as the haddock and a a true Portuguese burger topped with St. Jorge cheese, red peppers, and egg on a bulky roll served with a chef's homemade gravy inside of round fries.

Other items to try are the French Dip sandwich, and a frozen rum punch cocktail. But the specials don't stop there. Blue Point also offers a variety of homemade dessert options, such as apple crisp with the option to add ice cream, grape nut pudding, blueberry crisp, carrot cake cheesecake, classic cheesecake, a banana cream square cheesecake tiramisu, and a pineapple upside-down cake.

If you're in the mood for appetizers, Blue Point has you covered with their buffalo chicken dip with chips, buffalo chicken fingers, crab cakes, and Italian cheesy sticks. And for entrees, you'll find a variety of options to satisfy any craving. From a junior Portuguese steak to a filet mignon. Chicken lovers will enjoy dishes like chicken parmesan and chicken broccoli penne. And for seafood fans, Blue Point offers fried seafood plates, baked scrod, baked scallops, lobster casserole and a New England clam boil.

Celebrate Taco Tuesday with a Taco Omelette

Located at 2331 Acushnet Ave, Toast N Jam has quickly become a local hotspot for delicious breakfast and brunch options. Owned by the mastermind behind the former restaurant, What's Cookin, this new location is gaining rave reviews for its mouth-watering menu items such as the chicken & waffle benedict, a delightful twist on the classic dish. And for those with a sweet tooth, the Ultimate Banana Foster, which according to the menu, it's like the regular one, but on steroids! And on Taco Tuesday make sure to try the taco omelette Special.

Black Whale patio is open

The Black Whale has officially opened their newly renovated outdoor patio.

The addition of the patio, which opened softly on April 11, has been an anticipated project for the restaurant, as it aims to elevate the three pillars of their business: food, service and ambiance. One of the main features of the updated patio is the permanently installed retractable awning. This modern and sleek addition not only enhances the overall look of the area but also provides a functional purpose. The Black Whale has also added multiple heating systems to the patio, making it possible for guests to dine comfortably for most of the year. The outdoor dining experience promises to be a cozy and enjoyable one.

Half-priced afternoon appetizers to taste

Endzone Sports and Bar is offering up some great dinner musts. Located at 218 Cogshell St., specials including tasty dishes like buffalo chicken egg rolls, spicy meat lover's black bread, salmon Chardonnay, strawberry spring sirloin tipped salad and chicken scampi. There's also half-priced appetizers at the bar from 2-6 Monday through Thursdays, featuring favorites like cheese nachos, boneless tenders, and mozzarella sticks.
