Travis and Jason Kelce's Parents 'Humble' Them With College Throwback Photo

Ed and Donna Kelce may be endearingly supportive of their sons' careers, but they won't let their heads get too big.

The parents of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce took an opportunity to playfully knock the pair down a peg, savagely doing so without a word of their own as they reposted a meme featuring the NFL stars back in their college football days.

The photo found Travis and Jason standing stony-faced on their college football field, each wearing their Cincinnati Bearcats jerseys as they stared into the camera. It's unknown what year the snapshot was taken, but the two only overlapped for the 2008 and 2009 seasons—putting Travis somewhere around 19-20 years old and Jason somewhere around 21-22 at the time.

“One of these guys is a finalist for sexiest man alive and the other is dating Taylor Swift,” the caption on the throwback photo read. “There’s still hope for you.”

Ed uploaded it to Facebook on Nov. 13, presenting it without further comment, while Donna shared it from his profile just a couple of hours later.

We're not quite sure where the graphic originated. It tags the Philly-area podcast Word to the Wise—which is likely where Ed discovered it, as he lives in a nearby suburb—but appears to be made in the same style as the popular NFL Memes account.

A TikToker by the name of Kristyna first brought it to our attention after noticing the pair had shared it, tickled over the fact that they would "humble their sons this way," but it's clear that this is where the footballers get their senses of humor, as they've never shied away from laughing at themselves.
