Portsmouth
Roundabout Diner
The Roundabout Diner will host an all-you-can-eat buffet this Mother’s Day, May 12. On Facebook, the eatery says it sold out early for its Easter buffet so is encouraging everyone to make their Mother’s Day reservations at (603) 431-1440, option #1, soon so you don’t miss out. The buffet will feature carving stations for Sirloin Roast with Warm Au Jus and Horseradish Cream Sauce and Roasted Turkey with Hot Demi Glace, Hot and Cold Brunch Buffets, and desserts. The Roundabout’s full menu and Mother’s Day specials will be available in addition to the buffet. There’s a 90-minute limit for seatings and complimentary mimosas for moms with buffet purchase. Buffet will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the cost is $32.95 for adults and $17.95 for kids.
Grill 28
Grill 28 will present a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring a Pastry Station, Fresh Fruit Platter, an array of breakfast items and entrees such as Caprese Chicken, Moroccan Salmon and Green Goddess Stuffed Peppers. There’ll also be a Carving Station with Roasted Prime Rib and made-to-order waffles, Benedicts and omelets. And, of course, many dessert choices. Rooftop at Envio
Rooftop at The Envio will be offering a three-course prix fixe menu on Sunday, May 12, 12 to 9 p.m. Diners can select from a carefully constructed prix fixe menu with starters such as a refreshing Strawberry Spinach Salad or Arancini Fontina; mains including Caprese Stuffed Chicken with buffalo mozzarella, oven-roasted tomatoes, and a drizzle of Limoncello honey, or Roasted Vegetable & Goat Cheese Ravioli with a Scallion Asiago Cream and Roasted Red Pepper Oil; and to top off the culinary journey, decadent Chocolate Raspberry Dome or creamy Salted Caramel Gelato paired with butter griddled pound cake and spiced rum syrup.
