The Sephora Savings Event starts today, April 5. Members of the Sephora Beauty Insider program can get exclusive savings on a variety of beauty products through Monday, April 15.

What is the Sephora Savings Event?

The Sephora Savings Event is a members-only sale with discounts of up to 30% on select beauty products. Those deals only apply to members of Sephora's Beauty Insider program, which is free to sign up but certain tiers require you to spend a certain amount per year to access rewards.

Right now, members of all tier levels can save 30% on Sephora Collection beauty items through the entire sale. Meanwhile, members of the Rouge tier can save 20% on purchases of other makeup tools starting today, April 5. VIB members can get 15% off purchases starting Tuesday, April 9, while standard Insider members can save 10% on purchases starting the same day.

What is the Sephora Beauty Insider program?

If you're a frequent shopper at Sephora, the Beauty Insider program is something to seek out. The standard tier is free to sign up and lets members access special perks, including free standard shipping, an end-of-year discount on select items, 10% off purchases on a seasonal basis, and the chance to apply 500 rewards points to $10 off purchases.

The VIB tier requires members to spend $350 a year at the Sephora site. If you spend that much, you can get 15% off purchases on a seasonal basis and three times the rewards points every time you buy something.

Finally, there's the Rouge tier that requires members to spend $1,000 a year on Sephora. Members get 20% off purchases on a seasonal basis, four times the rewards points every time they buy something and a Rouge Reward that lets you exchange 2,500 points for $100 off any purchase.

How much does it cost to sign up for the Sephora Beauty Insider program?

A Beauty Insider membership is free of charge. However, you'll need to spend up to $1,000 a year at Sephora to access the benefits of a VIB or a Rouge membership.
