Selena Gomez Brings the Heat in Chic Black Swimsuit Photo

Selena Gomez isn't ready to give up her summer wardrobe quite yet, sharing a new photo of herself making just a swimsuit look absolutely fabulous.

During the late evening hours of Monday, Sept. 11, the 31-year-old shared mirror selfies to her Instagram Story, posing in just a black one-piece bathing suit with a sweetheart neckline and a pair of sparkly stud earrings.

The image appeared to be taken shortly after she finished her skincare and simple makeup routine, as her skin radiated with the glow of the "clean girl" aesthetic, and a sizable collection of Rare Beauty products was neatly organized on the counter before her.

The new picture comes about two weeks after the Only Murders in the Building actress revealed she recently underwent surgery.

While promoting her newest hit, "Single Soon," Gomez got candid about her health, explaining that her latest release is extra special because it's the first time she's worked on new music after having surgery on her hand.

"Broke my hand and had surgery," Gomez told fans in a comment made via Instagram last month. "I don't care about selling anything. I'm just happy to make music with my friends."

In the weeks since she first shared the health update, the former Disney Channel star hasn't offered any other details related to her injury, nor has she elaborated further on when the operation occurred.

That said, the pop star seems to be in good spirits and recovering with ease, as she only recently attended a friend's wedding and celebrated the third anniversary of her viral beauty brand.
