Rémy Métailler Shows New Angle Of Enormous Rock Drop In Squamish

In-n-Out Burger is perhaps the most famous trail in Squamish, British Columbia. It is a line down a long granite slab that is a must-hit for many visitors.

Rémy Métailler decided that the main line was not hard enough. Watch Rémy hit the drop route on the slab below.

This drop is an incredibly technical feature. Not only is it huge, but the landing is a rock slab without any sort of catch berm. Rémy was forced to land it and then slam on the brakes to control his speed.

As you can tell the line is far harder than it looked on his POV of the feature.

Squamish, BC, is a mountain bike hub that is home to so many pro riders that a game of oneupmanship has formed, pushing riders to create wilder and wilder features. This drop is just the latest in that line.

What is not clear is whether environmental authorities approved of the builders moving the moss to make the rock rideable. Sometimes it can damage the environment to clear too much moss off the trail.

Rémy has had incidents in the past of environmental groups taking issue with his lines. Read about that story below.
