Pomsky ‘Narrates’ His Adventure After Escaping From the Yard and It’s a Doozie

If you've ever had one of those days when your dog drove you crazy, you'll totally be able to relate to this story that Zeus the Pomskey's mom shared on Instagram at the end of March. Zeus went on an adventure and took mom with him, and mom wasn't happy about it!

Lucky for us it's Zeus who tells the story about how he dug a hole when mom wasn't looking so he could get out of the yard. He wanted to go play in the pond down the road and was so excited when mom showed up to play tag (which actually means she was trying to catch him to take him home). Make sure your sound is on so you can hear Zeus tell the rest of the story - it will crack you up!

Are you tired now? I can't quit laughing! Mom got her workout in for the day by playing tag and having to clean out the car when Zeus got sick! Commenters were cracking up, too. @wendsil said, "This story just kept getting better!" Another commenter laughed and wondered, "Zeus how does a sweet boy like you stay in so much trouble!" and another asked, "Are these stories true? Haha! Because he gets into trouble a lot!"

Pomskys as Pets: The Good and the Bad

As we've learned from Zeus' video, Pomskies love to dig. They also get into a lot of other mischief because they are very active dogs. Do they make good pets? Many people choose a dog based their looks, and one thing's for certain, Pomskies are adorable dogs...just check out Zeus' eyes!

Pomskies are a mix between a Pomeranian and the gorgeous Siberian Husky so you will get characteristics from each breed. They are considered a small sized dog, weighing in at just 20 to 30 pounds as an adult. They are affectionate, playful, and loyal to their family. They also make good watchdogs because they are protective of their family...unfortunately this also means that they love to bark to alert you of any potential (real or not!) threats.

Pomskies are high energy dogs. If you're a couch potato this breed may not be the right dog for you; they love to play, take lots of walks, and prefer to always be busy. When they get bored, they find things to do, like digging holes and chewing on anything and everything they can find.

Remember, there are pros and cons to every dog breed so do your research because after seeing the cons you might decide that a Pomsky isn't a good fit for your family.
