Blurred lines? No no no, blurred eyes. Under-eyes, to be specific.

If you're looking to both neutralize dark under-eye circles and shadows while imparting a soft radiance to your skin, Pat McGrath has you covered (because of course she does). Her best not-kept secret: Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Powder ($34), especially the new, baby pink shade.

"The soft pink shade color-corrects while the mica-infused pigments brighten and blur, diminishing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots along the under eyes. It’s the ultimate finishing touch to your makeup look," the makeup artist tells Byrdie.

Ahead, everything you want to know about the new product—plus how to get the look yourself.

The Product

"I’m obsessed with sublime, radiant skin," shares McGrath. "The bright, blurred look created by the Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Powder is a really easy way to achieve that exquisite luminosity and soft-focus effect. Just one swipe instantly pulls your entire makeup look together, leaving your complexion looking beautifully polished and effortless exquisite. I’m utterly obsessed!"

Surprisingly versatile, the baby pink shade works across a range of skin tones. Still, it's best for those with fair to medium complexions, where it "excels at brightening and neutralizing blue or purple tones in the skin."

For medium-dark to dark complexions, McGrath recommends the shades Yellow (which brightens while diminishing redness and blue/purple tones) and Deep.

How to Get the Look

It's possible!! Yes, even for you (by which I mean me—these bags are something else). Here are McGrath's tips for bright, blurred under-eyes.

Step 1: Hydrate

Hydration should be your first step in any situation. Your skin would love to constantly be in a happy, moisturized state.

McGrath says that you should prep your skin with a hydrating cream or essence, like her Divine Skin: Rose 001 The Essence ($86). After shaking the bottle to mix the bi-phase formula, you'll sprinkle a few drops into your palms and press it over your under-eyes and the rest of your face. Follow with a non-greasy eye cream; I love Glossier's new-ish Full Orbit ($28).

Step 2: Apply Your Concealer

Next, you'll want to dot concealer along your under-eye area. Using a brush, stipple the product onto the skin until it's fully blended. (You can find our guide to applying concealer like a pro here.)

Step 3: Apply the Under-Eye Powder

"Using a soft brush, gently sweep your Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Powder over the under-eye area to blur, smooth, brighten and set your concealer in place," shares McGrath. Yes, it's that easy.

The artist also notes that you can apply the powder along your cheekbones and brow bone to create a natural-looking highlight, brightening the eye area overall.

"To create a subtle, lifted effect, you can apply additional Sublime Perfection Concealer and Blurring Under-Eye Powder starting at the outer corners of the eyes and up towards the temples, almost to the brow bones," she adds. "Gently blend for a luminous finish."
