New Marvel Comics: Jango Fett, Spider Webs, And X-Men: Forever

Have you ever wondered how many people are on Marvel Comics’ payroll? I certainly have. With so many comics coming out each and every week, between writers, artists, editors, printing specialists, and more, there must be hundreds of people working on every single week of Marvel’s new releases. In a week like this, with 21 new comics being released, it’s honestly a miracle that all these moving parts work as well as they do.

This week sees the release of quite a few interesting new lines, but the biggest one is probably the one featuring the galaxy’s greatest bounty hunter, Jango Fett. The new Jango Fett comic series will see Jango Fett solving a mystery, hunting down a bounty, and rubbing shoulders with Aurra Sing, who Google tells me is a wild-looking Force-sensitive bounty hunter woman who helped train Boba Fett.

Writer Ethan Sacks has said that more Jango stories will be told after this 4-issue comic if it performs well, so if you care about Jango (I’ve said Jango way too many times) then you’ll want to pick this up on Wednesday.

Web of Spider-Man is another interesting comic, being a one-shot comic that is going to give us a little bit of a taste of what’s to come for Spider-Folk across the Spider-Verse in 2024 and going into 2025. We’ve had some wild developments in Spider-City in recent months, so this will be a very interesting one to keep an eye on ahead of the full rollout of Spider-Stories this year.

Of course, the Fall of the House of X story is still continuing, too, this week with the launch of X-Men: Forever. This new line continues the story that started with Immortal X-Men, and ties Fall of the House of X into Rise of the Powers of X, making it sound like it’s going to be pivotal to the greater X-Men storyline.
