Krispy Kreme Welcomes Spring With Adorable New Doughnuts

Spring is finally here. That means folks across the South are getting ready for spring cleaning, planning Easter feasts, taking spring break trips to Galveston (or Myrtle Beach or St. Augustine) and searching for the recipe for Oven-Roasted Corn On The Cob. This year, there’s one more thing to add to the spring to-do list, thanks to Krispy Kreme. The doughnut chain has just unveiled a collection of new spring-inspired treats that look good enough to eat.

Starting March 19 (and only for a limited time) participating locations of Krispy Kreme will be serving up a touch of springtime in a sugar-filled box. The four new flavors of mini doughnuts are spring-themed with just a touch of Easter magic.

Cadbury Mini Eggs fans will love the option that pairs the seasonal (and frequently hard to find) Easter treat with a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut with chocolate buttercream and sprinkles. There’s also the Robin’s Egg blue doughnut finished with daisy sprinkles; a strawberry- glazed variety with yellow and teal drizzles, and an absolutely adorable chick doughnut that just might be too cute to gobble down.

  • Mini Birds Nest Doughnut made with CADBURY Mini Eggs – a mini Original Glazed® Doughnut topped with chocolate buttercream and spring sprinkles, topped with CADBURY Mini Eggs.

  • Strawberry Egg Doughnut – a mini Original Glazed® Doughnut dipped in strawberry icing with yellow and teal drizzles.

  • Hatching Chick Doughnut – a mini Original Glazed® Doughnut dipped in light yellow icing and white nonpareils, finished with chocolate and orange icing.

  • Robin’s Egg Doughnut – a mini Original Glazed® Doughnut dipped in teal icing and daisy sprinkles.
