Kentucky Shelter's One Eyed Kitten and Injured Puppy are Brand New Besties
The Kentucky Humane Society out of Louisville recently introduced two of the most adorable animal intakes we have ever seen, a little puppy named Quill and a tiny kitten named Fritter.
Quill arrived to the shelter with a broken jaw and Fritter was suffering from an eye injury that left the eye protruding from the socket. Both animals received the best veterinary care and while they were recovering they became adorable besties.
The Kentucky Humane Society posted, "While healing with our veterinary services department, Fritter snuggled up to Quill as if they'd known each other in a past life. The two are inseparable, even trying to share food!
Their friendship has melted our hearts and we couldn't bear to separate them while they're healing. SO, Quill and Fritter are going to a foster home TOGETHER where they can continue to peacefully recover in tandem!"

How wonderful is that? There's nothing better when two animals in need can give each other comfort and affection. It would be fantastic if these two besties were then adopted in a forever home together!
