I discovered this serum at Whole Foods in the clean skin-care aisle, where it was $25. However, I recently discovered it on Amazon, where it's often marked down to less than $15. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, which means it can help fight toxins that come in contact with your skin. Experts say that with regular use, it can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, prevent sun damage, decrease dark spots and help get rid of acne — there's a slew of benefits.

Other vitamin C products I've used in the past have been a little too strong for my sensitive skin, but this serum is gentle. It contains sodium ascorbyl phosphate, a form of Vitamin C that is less potent and arguably less powerful than other variations. There's also hyaluronic acid, which helps skin retain moisture, and aloe to moisturize and soothe dry skin. The formula isn't sticky at all — it actually feels good on your skin. I like to layer mine over a hydrating toner and under my moisturizer and SPF.
