Dua Lipa Wore Belts Instead of a Shirt, and It Totally Works

Dua Lipa wore a belted outfit as a chic joke. In a recent pic with a fan, the “Houdini” singer looks hot in a top made up of three wide black leather belts secured in the front with gold buckles. And her baggy jeans are…not belted. It's an irony! A little ha-ha!

Wearing three belts but not as belts, plus pants with no belts, is just the sort of fun, playful style we've come to expect from the star. She completed the look with pointy-toed shoes as she posed with Harry Daniels, a singer and TikTok star. Clearly, Daniels is also a Dua fan, as he captioned their pictures together “AHHHHHDNWJDIWKDKEKDKELRLRKRHENDHDN.” You can see the look in action (pretty sure the “belts” are attached in back) in the short video he posted from their meeting, which seemed to delight the Albanian pop princess.

Even with three belts secured tightly around her, Dua Lipa looks comfortable in the outfit, unlike her gown at the Golden Globes. The Barbie mermaid wore a custom black velvet and silk dress by Schiaparelli's Daniel Roseberry that looked great but was…less than ideal for a seated event. She posted a very funny video of herself struggling to bend in the garment, ultimately lounging against the back of the chair without losing her cool.

Told ya, girl has a sense of humor about clothes!

The burgundy-haired hitmaker just announced her third studio album, Radical Optimism, which will be released May 3 and consists of 11 tracks. In her announcement, Lipa said, “A couple years ago, a friend introduced me to the term Radical Optimism. It’s a concept that resonated with me…I found myself looking through the music history of psychedelia, trip hop, and Britpop. It has always felt so confidently optimistic to me, and that honesty and attitude is a feeling I took into my recording sessions.”
