#CopyThat: Emma Stone’s Unicorn Eye Shadow

Emma Stone is one of the most underrated actresses (in our opinion) when it comes to lust-worthy makeup. While she seemed to transition effortlessly between being a ravishing redhead and a beautiful blonde, Stone has really amped it up in the glam department.

During a red carpet appearance for her latest film, La La Land, the 28-year-old experimented with the unicorn eye shadow trend. Stone looked stunning in the combination of pastel shades and sparkly finishes, which made her baby blues look even brighter.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Use a small, flat brush to apply mauve eye shadow (try the NARS Duo Eyeshadow – Thessalonique palette) on top of lids.
2. Smudge Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow – Iridescent Light Turquoise along the lower lash line.
3. For an extra pop of color, add NARS Velvet Shadow Stick – Grand Large (an icy blue) underneath lower lashes.
4. Dust white shadow on the inner corners of eyes to highlight, and brush MAC Reflects Glitter in Pearl on top to brighten eye color.
5. Draw on winged liner with Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black. Pro tip: Create small lines across lids, then connect them for a seamless finish.
6. Add three sets of KISS Ever-EZ Trio Lashes, starting from the outer corners and working towards the center of lids.
7. Bind falsies to natural lashes with a few coats of Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash Arresting Volume Mascara.
8. Sweep NARS Blush – Bumpy Ride onto apples of cheeks for a rosy glow.
9. Apply Flower HydraSilk Ultimate Lip Butter in UL3 Peach Petal with your fingertips to create a “bitten” finish.
