This just in: Chanel recently launched a rich matte Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche lipstick in eight new shades. After waiting not-so-patiently for our package to arrive, it's finally here and we're happy to report that it was well worth the wait.
For one, the lipstick is infused with shea butter and jojoba oil to ensure your lips don't get parched and flaky as the day goes on (as is common with many matte formulas). "They don't get dry, nor do they bleed," affirms one reviewer. "The formula has a nice feel to it and my lips feel moisturized while looking matte," adds another.
It also has ultra-fine pearlescent particles in it that add a luminous touch to keep the color from falling flat. Another thing to note: The wear time is surprisingly long, and the color gently fades into a soft stain that lasts for hours without reapplication.
The Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche lipstick comes in a fun smattering of reds, pinks and plums that are sure to complement all of your spring looks. Many of the shades have a slight brownish undertone to them, making them feel a bit more muted and wearable for everyday.
