Asa Vermette Previews Fort William World Cup Track

One of the most exciting racers to watch in 2024 will be Asa Vermette. Despite breaking his pelvis in late March, the 17-year-old American is already back on the bike.

Watch Vermette take his first lap at the Fort William World Cup below.

In this video, Asa looked absolutely dialed on the track, catching up to multiple other riders in his training group. He even reeled someone in on the motorway.

Vermette will be an exciting rider to watch because of his results in the US. Asa has consistently beaten the fastest American pros at continental races but hasn't gotten to show us what he's got on the World Cup circuit yet.

The hype for Asa has been building. In late 2022, he was picked up by Neko Mulally's popular Frameworks team. On the new ride, Asa has had smashing success.

Vermette’s 2024 season appeared to hit a road block when he broke his pelvis racing at the Tennessee National. Though it was speculated he might miss this first round of racing, Vermette has made a quick recovery and is back on the bike.

Though it may take time to get back to 100%, Vermette can still score valuable overall points at Fort William.
