Frameworks Racing Announces 2024 Lineup

Every winter, around the new year, there is a shakeup in the downhill world as riders switch teams.

On January 16, 2024, another team announced its lineup. See Frameworks Racing's team announcement below.

In 2024, Neko Mulally, Angel Suarez, and Asa Vermette will race for Frameworks Factory racing, Neko’s exciting project. See their intro video below.

Frameworks is a unique team. Rather than being sponsored by an established bike brand, the Frameworks project started off with Neko Mulally designing a bike to race World Cups on and documenting it on YouTube. The project was so popular that the team was able to grow, and Frameworks bikes are now available for purchase!

The constant behind the team has been Neko Mulally. Neko is an icon in the mountain bike world. In addition to an illustrious career at the world level capped off by an incredible fourth-place finish at World Champs without a chain in 2014, Mulally is an ambassador for the sport. He may just be the face of riding in the southeast if not the county. Alongside Sean Leader, Neko was crucial in founding, and building Windrock Bike Park, a hub of riding in the Southeastern US.

It is no surprise that the Frameworks YouTube series is a success given that such a genuine personality is behind the camera.

Asa Vermette will return for his second full season on the brand. After posting some blazing results at age 16, Vermette is finally old enough to race in the Junior category at World Cups. As you saw in the intro video, he also has some style on jumps!

2024 will be Angel Suarez’s first season on frameworks. The 28-year-old has posted countless top-ten finishes and two podiums in his successful career. He is certainly poised to be a weapon on the new ride.

In addition to new riders, Frameworks will also have a new person overseeing and mentoring them. Earlier this year, Frameworks announced that they would be bringing on renowned manager Martin Whitely. Read more about that below.
