Bangladesh cricket board must take strict action against fixing players-Indian Sports Journalist

The spot fixing row involving Indian cricketers in IPL was yet to die down when Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful was suspended by the BCB from all forms of cricket after he confessed his involvement in fixing matches. Indian sports journalist Harpal Singh Bedi, in an exclusive interview with ANI said that spot fixing is a new phenomenon where money plays a big role and this can't be stopped by just banning players. He said people involved in such acts should be disgraced socially. Bedi also slammed ICC over its failure to curb such illegal activities. Speaking about the measures to check spot fixing, Bedi said that it should be made a criminal offence.
