The last true Shelby GT350 debuted in 1970, and it’s been a long road back. The reveal of the latest pony car to enter Ford’s stable arrived with much anticipation and skepticism: Can Ford really hang with the might Chevy Camaro Z/28, a track-focused machine many believe defines this era of General Motors engineering, delivering inconceivable performance for a 3,822 lb. piece of muscle.
