Manitowoc County broadband taskforce to begin discussions on how to bring internet access to rural communities

MANITOWOC — A new taskforce dedicated to assessing the need for rural broadband internet and finding solutions is meeting April 30.

The Manitowoc County Rural Broadband Taskforce, which includes 16 local leaders, will meet at the Progress Lakeshore office. Its agenda includes discussing the process to identify unserved and underserved areas of the county and an update on the regional New North Broadband Alliance.
