Kim & Kanye Kiss on the Cover of a Magazine
The West family continue their campaign to get the fashion world to take them seriously with a shared cover for an obscure magazine.
Shot by Juergen Teller, the famed fashion photographer behind Marc Jacobs ads, Vogue spreads, and many iconic celebrity images, the editorial for System magazine’s set in Château d’Ambleville in France and Kanye even styled Kim. The reality star’s pictured in an open field standing dangerously close to barbed wire wearing a nude-colored body stocking and brown high socks that might be from her husband’s collection for Adidas. The rapper looks normal posing against a tree contemplatively wearing all black. The photographer also stepped out from behind the lens and modeled the latest in athletic wear for people who are warm-blooded on the top half of their bodies and cold-blooded on the bottom. You know Teller was really cold because this shoot had to have taken place at some point in February during the two weeks Kim was a platinum blonde.
The booklet (so chic it can’t have the same name as other mass publications) will be available as of this Saturday in London, so if you happen to be in Europe. or are just a superfan with an indispensable bank account, stop by IDEA Books at Dover Street Market London. It’ll eventually be online as well but there’s nothing cooler than exclusivity in fashion — and the Kanye, Juergen & Kim are the coolest.
