PORTLAND, Ore. (WJW) – A lucky winner found a $1 million lottery prize, hidden with other tickets inside a Tupperware container!

According to a press release from the Oregon Lottery, 52-year-old Leslie Carr claimed her prize Monday after she brought a pile of tickets to the store where she buys them in Happy Valley.

Tucked away in that stack of tickets was this year’s $1 million Raffle ticket!

“I had no idea I was the winner,” Carr told the Oregon Lottery. “If it weren’t for the billion-dollar Powerball winner making news, I would have forgotten. We don’t check our tickets.”

After a few dozen of Carr’s tickets were scanned, the last one was the winning Raffle ticket, which was drawn on March 15. She was told to go to an Oregon Lottery office to claim her prize.

“I heard him say, ‘Oh, I can’t cash this because your prize is worth over $1,000,’” she said. “That’s when I started getting butterflies.”

According to the Oregon Lottery, Carr said she plans to use the money to pay off her mortgage on the home she shares with her husband.

She called it a “dream come true,” according to the release.
