Woman accused of retail theft at ShopRite

CHESTNUT HILL TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) announced Monday that a Lehighton woman allegedly stole almost $1,000 worth of goods from ShopRite.

According to PSP, between January 25 at 9:00 a.m. and April 13 at 11:45 a.m., 34-year-old, Danyelle Klinger of Lehighton allegedly stole almost $1,000 worth of food and cosmetics.

Business owner convicted of tax evasion

PSP says Klinger stole food items worth $498.58 and cosmetics and makeup valued at $498.58, totaling $997.17 of stolen merchandise.

Charges have been filed against Klinger through the district court.
