West Walnut Street to close Friday for sewer line relocations

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – West Walnut Street at University Parkway will be closed Friday while sewer lines are being relocated, the city announced in a release.

This closure is expected to last about a week or until the work is finished.

Full lineup announced for 2024 Bristol Rhythm & Roots

Motorists are advised to use Cherokee Street as a detour.

Those unable to reroute should use caution in the construction zone and expect delays.
