Wendy’s unveils $3 breakfast deal to rival McDonald’s new $5 deal

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Wendy’s is upping its breakfast game with a new limited-time deal.

Wendy’s fans can choose between a Bacon, Egg & Cheese English Muffin or a Sausage, Egg & Cheese English Muffin for just $3.

The fast food chain said it’s “doubling down on better breakfast with unmatched value and quality on the go.”

The new deal is available now and will rival McDonald’s plan to introduce a $5 meal deal.

According to The Associated Press, McDonald’s deal would let customers get a four-piece McNugget, small fries, a small drink and either a McDouble burger or a McChicken sandwich for $5. The deal is expected to begin on June 25.

Wendy’s also announced it’s adding a new sausage breakfast burrito to its menu. The burrito includes a grilled sausage patty, fresh cracked eggs, seasoned breakfast potatoes, American cheese, and cheese sauce wrapped in a tortilla and served with two Cholula Original Hot Sauce Packets.
