Warmer temperatures are to be expected across PA

EYEWITNESS WEATHER (WBRE/WYOU) — High pressure remains in control across the northeast with plenty of sunshine.

After a chilly start, temperatures rebound to the upper 50s to 60. Thursday night will be mostly clear and cold. Lows fall to the mid-30s. Friday will be a pleasant day with a mostly sunny sky and temperatures slightly warmer in the mid-60s.

A warm front lifts through the area Saturday with more clouds than sunshine along with a few showers. Highs in the lower 60s. Clouds along with some sunshine will be around for Sunday with an isolated shower or rumble of thunder possible.

Weather

Temperatures will be significantly warmer in the mid-70s. Monday will have a mix of clouds and sunshine. While most of the day is dry, an isolated shower or thunderstorm can’t be ruled out.

Near record highs are possible, with temperatures in the mid-80s (a record for AVP is 85 from 1974).

In addition, it may feel a bit humid. A cold front arrives Tuesday with a partly sunny sky along with scattered showers and storms. Highs around 80. Wednesday will turn mostly cloudy with highs in the lower 70s.
