Virginia Beach Public Utilities Office closes early on April 26

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Beach Utilities Office on 2809 S. Lynnhaven Road scheduled to close at noon on Friday, the office stated.

The office will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 29.

The Public Utilities Customer Contact Center was accepting calls until 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Any customers still in the call queue at that time were serviced.

For customers whose water service was previously disconnected for nonpayment, the service will still be restored the same day if full payment is made before 3 p.m.

If anyone experiences any water and sewer emergencies while the office is closed, please call 311.
