Teenager detained after alleged pursuit, ‘intentionally crashes’ in Stockton

(FOX40.COM) — A 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly led deputies on a pursuit in a suspected stolen vehicle.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said that around 12:30 p.m. deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a white Kia sedan, but the vehicle failed to yield. Officials said the vehicle was allegedly stolen out of Stockton.

Officials said that the vehicle did not stop and led a 23-mile pursuit during which the suspected driver “intentionally collided” with several vehicles along the way.
