Dayanna Hernandez-Mora, junior, Martin County High School

This student is a beautiful human being, inside and out. Not only is she devoted to her studies, but what she does outside the classroom has shaped her into the young woman she is today. She takes care of her family financially and emotionally. She is the most trustworthy student I have.

Carl Koch, senior, Fort Pierce Central High School

Carl's 4.07 weighted GPA is only one impressive aspect of this Cobra. He continues to overcome a learning obstacle and proves that anything can be accomplished with hard work and dedication. He came out of his comfort zone this semester and into a rigorous, honors class to embrace an on-campus second semester. He is the total package, polite, respectful, hardworking, determined and an overall, kind young man.

Nicole Zhao, senior, Vero Beach High School

Nicole is a National Merit Finalist and received the President's Volunteer Service Award in Gold. She is the co-president of the International Club and the vice president of our National Honor Society. Nicole is a talented pianist of 10 years as well as the first violinist in the school's Philharmonic Orchestra. Nicole is chapter director of the Asian Passion Program, which is a nonprofit that provides free tutoring to students in Asia.
