Strong storms, hail hitting Arkansas on Friday night

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansans are getting a round of strong storms and plenty of hail as Memorial Day Weekend starts.

The National Weather Service has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH for much of the state until midnight.

Viewers from all over central and southern Arkansas have submitted photos of storms and hail as the weather passed through.

According to PowerOutage.us, there are more than 34,000 customers without power in Arkansas Friday night as of 11:15 p.m.
