Springfield man, 29, dies after being ejected from crash at Sunshine Street intersection
Springfield police identified the driver from a Tuesday two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Sunshine Street and Scenic Avenue.
Springfield resident Jordan Oswalt, 29, was reportedly driving north on Scenic in a Jeep Grand Cherokee about 7:30 p.m. before colliding with a Honda Odyssey van that was westbound on Sunshine, ejecting Oswalt from his vehicle. He died at a local hospital shortly after the crash.
The circumstances that led to the fatal crash, Springfield's seventh of 2024, are under investigation.
