Sofia Talvik to perform free concert at Niceville Library

NICEVILLE, Fla. (WKRG) — Music lovers are invited to the Niceville Public Library for an “unforgettable evening of music,” at an upcoming free concert.

According to a press release, Sofia Talvik, a folk/Americana artist from Sweden, is set to perform a free concert at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, at the Niceville Public Library.

CONCERT LOCATION:

Talvik, known for her “distinctive sound and emotive storytelling,” has performed her music across Europe and through 48 U.S. states.

“Sofia has garnered recognition as one of the genre’s most captivating artists. Notably, her album was considered for a Grammy nomination in the esteemed category of Best Folk Album.”

She is currently on a four-month tour throughout the U.S. to promote her ninth studio album, ‘Center of the Universe.’

“Niceville Public Library, known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to cultural enrichment, provides the perfect setting for Sofia’s concert,” according to the release. Attendees are told to “Prepare yourself for a unique and intimate evening, not unlike the 70’s coffeehouses and speakeasies.”

Although the concert is free, a ticket is required to attend. To get a ticket, visit the Okaloosa Library website. Ticket prices are listed as free, according to the release.
