Sign of spring: Akron's historic Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens to open for season next week
Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens will open for the season on Tuesday.
To help celebrate the official opening of the historic home and gardens, the sprawling estate of late Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company co-founder F.A. Seiberling is offering a special deal.
During the month of April, any guest that purchases a self-guided manor tour and brings along a non-perishable food item will receive a free second ticket.
All food collected will be donated to the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank.
