Santa Rosa County man arrested after crashing into cars, home: FHP

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A man was arrested after he crashed into two cars and “impacted” two homes in Santa Rosa County, according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

37-year-old John Robert Mahoney, of Santa Rosa County, was heading west on Blake Lane and was approaching Amble Way Tuesday around 11:46 p.m., according to the release.

Mahoney allegedly did not stop at a stop sign and entered the intersection, causing the front of his car to hit two other cars and two homes. He then fled the scene.

Mahoney was arrested and charged with DUI with property damage, leaving the scene of an accident and running a stop sign.
