How to report a pothole in New York

NEW YORK (PIX11) – It’s every driver’s worst nightmare – from just a tiny dent in the road to a gaping hole, potholes are leaving drivers across New York with popped tires and car damage that can cost hundreds of dollars.

Nearly half of major local and state-maintained roads in New York state are in poor or mediocre condition, according to a study from transportation research nonprofit TRIP. It’s costing New York drivers around $36.7 billion a year in repairs as a result, the study said.
